Some imports are straightforward. Some require a little extra paperwork. And then there are the ones where Spain forces you to pretend the car has a different name because the original one is… let’s say… not ideal in Spanish.
This Mitsubishi Pajero came to Spain with its German owner — and immediately needed a rebrand.
The Vehicle
Mitsubishi Pajero (yes, that name)
Brought to Spain by a German customer
Compact, capable, and perfect for Spanish backroads
Just needed a new identity to avoid turning heads for the wrong reasons
The Mission
Register the vehicle in Spain, handle all the paperwork, and make sure the name on the documents didn’t cause any raised eyebrows at DGT.
Spain doesn’t like the word “Pajero.” So we did what everyone does: We renamed it.
What We Did
Managed the full Spanish registration
Completed all import documentation
Passed ITV
Ensured the model name was changed to the Spain‑friendly version
Delivered the car fully legal and ready to drive
No awkward moments at the counter. No giggling from the clerk. No “sir, we can’t put that word on the paperwork.”
The Result
A fully registered Mitsubishi with a socially acceptable name — and a happy German customer now driving legally in Spain without accidentally offending anyone.
Why This Matters
Sometimes importing a car is about logistics. Sometimes it’s about paperwork. And sometimes it’s about saving a customer from owning a vehicle whose name translates to… well… something you don’t want to shout across a parking lot.
If the paperwork exists, we can register it. And if the name needs changing, we’ll handle that too.
